If you look on YouTube, you'll see what I'm talking about. The 4R could be the same way, but I don't think he will make a harness for 4Rs since he's mainly a Tacoma guy. Also, Tacomas don't come with any puddle light option, which is why you have to install his harness and tap into the cab light to power the puddle lights.

changing the mirror is simple, but running the wires is a pita if you need to tap off the blinkers near the headlights.
I want someone who does not have factory blinkers and puddles to compare there mirror wires. Just need to pop off the mirror cap. Takes like 5 secs :-)

I can tell you there is only a black and a red wire toward the front of my mirror housing. That's it. This is on the passenger side. I'll have to find somewhere to tap my turn signals, or take it to a dealer, but not sure they will want do the install.

Any case, it’s worth opening up the kick panels to see if the red white and yellow yellow wires in present in the kick panel.

Perhaps follow the harness to the kick panels like in this Tacoma video. I just hoping the main harness has the puddle and blinker wires available.
