1st and only T4R, bought new in 2005, 164,600 miles...Our 15 year anniversary together is coming up soon in Feb 2020. Planning to keep my 2005 for a minimum of 20 years. 2nd T4R...I'll buy new again and I'll keep that another 20 years, I'll be in my mid 40s or early 50s when I make another new T4R purchase and I'll keep that for 20 years. There is not another model/make vehicle that I will drive. I will live for the rest of my life, driving a T4R

Nice.

I hope, have confidence, my 4runner will have no issues also when it gets to that point. So far just short of five years owning, 50k miles on it.

Thanks. Are you running 275/55 20? Do you have any issues with rubbing? I'm considering going with this size when we put on new tires, but very concerned about the tires rubbing. Seems like many experience this even with very minor increases in tire size.

Mag. Gray is a great color. I didn't consider it when I knew that I wanted a 4Runner but the dealership that I had purchased mine from had 3 2016 Trail leftovers that had made it all the way to Memorial Day weekend 2017. 2 of the were MGM and the other Classic Silver. Never been a fan of Silver so the Mag. Gray it was.

Do you change the oil at 10,000 miles or a shorter interval?

Have you changed the front/rear differential oil, transmission oil, or transfer case oil?

I change the oil every 5000 miles. I have gotten the transmission flushed and refilled at 130000. I also change the front / rear differential and transfer case oil every 40000 miles.
Hope that this helps.
