Need to remove rocker panel trim to install sliders?

Looking at buying some used RSG rock sliders off a 2014 SR5, I drive a 2011 SR5. I'm assuming I need to remove the rocker panel trim below the door to install rock sliders, right? If so, do I just cut it off or can I cleanly take it off without having to cut anything?

Also, do I need to buy any sort of additional trim pieces if I put sliders on and take off the stock rocker panel trim?

I know, I know, there is probably a thread on this somewhere. I tried to research it myself but I can't find anything. I know you all love answering questions like this anyways, help a guy out.

Yes, you will need to take off the rocker panels to install the sliders. It's really simple to do, just a few bolts down there - no cutting necessary. You can add additional trim pieces if you'd like, but I think it's looks fine w/o, especially with the angled version.
