getting one of the KO2s mounted up this week to test for the BMC clearance. Offroad shop is not doing my alignment and tire install until 9/30 and I’m too impatient to wait til then. Will report back but if anyone has experience, please share.

Hey dude, Just some heads up. A while back when I tried to run the Falkens 265/70/17 I know the owner at the tire place I deal with. We were comparing tires sizes and putting a Falken 265 next to a 275 there was not much difference. He told me and I agree it’s not worth the price to go 275. But this was just our opinion. Every tire is different. Just some info compare both sizes next to each other.

I need to see how much bigger the 285's actually look. Ive never ran a tire this small. 315's were the smallest I ran. The 285 Falkens are less than the 275's anyway. I just don't want rubbing or cutting.

I went back and fourth 275 or 285. now they are on, wished I went 295! Like you just mentioned I had 315's or 35" on previous rides and now 285 seams small... really glad I passed on 275

I’m definitely not looking for a much bigger tire so the 285’s will probably be the perfect size. I’m also not looking for a large lift. Just a better stance with a little more ground clearance. Hoping Eibach and 285’s are the perfect match.

Came home from the beach on Monday about 170 miles again on my 2020 Pro. The suspension performed flawlessly. Had the 4runner loaded up in the back and still was sitting at same stance like nothing was added. Going in for the first oil change and state inspection end of the month plus having alignment done. Going to wait till alignment is done to see what I get out of the caster and possibly have my tire guy throw a 285 on my SCS wheel and mount it up and do some testing on the front to see if any adjustments need to be done.

My springs will be here Friday. I’m trying to talk a guy into doing 5 Falken AT3 for $800. If he stays firm at $900 I think I would still do it. Pulled off gladiator at dealership. Over $1200 for 5 installed.

Here's my wanna be pro. Eibach set 2.5" up front, 1" rear and 285

My springs have arrived. Monday or Tuesday I’m hoping they will be installed.

Keep us updated on your tire choice. Im back and forth between 275 and 285. Id rather not Bmc or have to trim too much. Departure angle Clearance in the spare location is also a concern. Anyone have off road reviews yet?

I'm pretty sure I will end up with 285's

I went with the 285s. Thrilled with my decision. I have only the slightest rub at full lock on my aftermarket mudflats when reversing. I was expecting to do a little trimming or warping but I don’t need to do anything. I am clearing the uca by 1/4”. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the ride after the switch.

JBA was extremely responsive and actually contacted my shop within 5 minutes of an email question. Love doing business with quality companies!

For the tires I chose 285 because I wanted a SL and did not want to add too much weight since it’s my daily driver. I am getting around 17.5-18mpg after the lift and tires. The AT3s are quieter for me than the Nittos and everything feels so much more planted. I have a significant reduction in sway and nose dive.

Thanks everyone for the input! Could not be happier

Thats what I'm hoping for. I'm using stock UCA's so hopefully no rubbing.
