Trying to figure out the height difference with this suspension mod + 285's...I currently have 5 inches of space between the garage door opening and the top of my Pro roof rack. Calculating the new height, I will be adding 0.6" inches from the lift over stock setup plus the difference in tire diameter from the 265's to 285's. Anything else I need to add into that calculation for the new ride height?

Hi All, I am not very car savvy and I’m not able to tell if I have the TSB#0094-20 update on my ‘20 TRD Pro. I live in SoCal so it’s hard for me to identify the clunking noise due to our warm weather. But since I’ve had the 4Runner, I never heard any clunking noise.

I took a photo of the front spring and I’m wondering if this is enough to identify if I have the update. I really want to purchase Eibach TRD Pro lift..

mark@eibach stupid me ordered the pre tsb springs and I need the post tsb 2021+ front springs. The vendor will refund but will cost $90 for return shipping — any chance you can help if I send back front springs to Eibach directly?

Overall, my rack went up a little over an inch, since it is mostly in the back. The 285s will add another inch or inch and a half, depending on brand etc. You may want to change out the UCAs to be able to fit the tires better with more caster as well. I am still sitting at 22 from hub to front fender on both sides and 23 in the back. So, it gave me a a little over an inch over my stock. I am running rock sliders and a full set of aluminum skids as well.

285s will add 1/2" over 265s as a general rule. Only half the increase in diameter is below the axle at any one time

Put the Eibach springs on with 750 mile on the odometer. Very very happy with the ride quality and 285 KO2's fit with zero trimming. I do get very minor rubbing if I'm turning at lower speeds and hit a bump (for example, hitting the driveway with a little speed), but not enough to even bother trimming as it's a rare occurrence.

Before/After

So, I have had a front strut fail and am trying to determine the cause. Has anyone else had an issue with this and the Eibach Springs? I have not seen anything and am still doing research on the cause, but thought I would ask.

Added the Eibach springs along with 275/70R17 Wildpeaks. Went with the 275's as I wanted to stay within the recommended tire size with the Pro wheels so I have no issues airing down and I didn't want to trim. Also added the Prinsu full rack. Loving the look!

So how would airing down be a problem with 285’s on Pro wheels? Have two friends with Pro’s, neither experiencing any issues. More sidewall is a good thing off road.

Did you install front and back?

Does it feels much different than stock springs?

Eibach Springs

Just got a used 2020 TRD Pro. Want to put on 33s (285/70/17s KO2s)

It has about 45k miles on it. I was also going to inquire about re-building the Fox Shocks, but what's the current verdict on these Eibach springs on stock Fox struts? I do off-roading mainly in Colorado, doing some high mountain passes (Imogene Pass, etc.). Not heavy bouldering. But I wanted to try to avoid rubbing, etc. I know I can cut some things, but I would rather not if I can avoid it. Should I also consider a different UCA? Or would these springs do the trick?

Many thanks, and apologies if this has been asked 3k times. New here.

That's the kit I used, no UCA needed. I wanted to stay with 265 but have plenty of room. Easy install no spring compressor needed either, caster will be a bit lower but drives perfect.
