on my wife's '12 Limited i took off rockers and steps and put on BudBuilt step sliders which are straight and beefy.
I also have her rockers and steps available but haven't done anything to move them yet.

Says they don’t fit 2019? Great option though

If they fit a 2018 or 2014 for that matter it will fit a 2019. Some companies don’t update their fit guides

Logically speaking they should fit, but I’ll call them tomorrow

I recently took my stock Trail Edition running boards off my 2012. For me, they didn't do much. My 4Runner is stock height, but the location where the running board was made it awkward for me. It is too high to be a useful step. I usually just stepped right into the vehicle instead. Then getting out, I would rub my legs/pants against it all the time since it stuck further out and was pointless to use as an actual step.

I had the nfab on my 18 limited. But after it got totaled I just left them on there as it was too much of a PITA to get them off. My 19 ltd has the toyota sidesteps which I hate so I am now looking for something else? Not sure if I want nfab again, although I liked them and had no issues with them. The wife found them to be fine for her getting in and out of the car.

If it didn't cost a small fortune to ship them I'd send you my lightly used pair for cheap.
I bought them for the same reason some others posted; family appreciated a step and I didn't want to wait for sliders (though in retrospect I should have).
I had them on for two months and took them off because of how low they sit, essentially negating the clearance.

Had the predator steps on my previous Taco, they look cool but I didn't like how they hung down at such a sharp angle, just asking to be ripped off. I put the nfabs on my 4runner because the don't hang as low and are more rounded.
My wife and tiny 7 year old twin girls have no problems using them as steps. I don't need them for myself. They have also held up pretty well knocking them into a rock or two at an off road park last year. Not sliding on them mind you but they will protect from some bumps.

I am looking at getting the Predator steps for mine. I want those as they are aluminum instead of steel like the n-fab.
Only issue I am having is trying to find some that someone took off so I don't have to pay full price.
I've seen 3 product numbers posted for them from Tacomas. Does anyone know if they all fit as long as it came off of a Tacoma double cab?

PM returned, I can meet you at Bass Pro Springfield and save you some time. Or if you want to drive all the way to Theodosia, I have a tiny off road coarse set up in my back field.

join various 4R facebook pages. many people list the OEM predator steps for $300 to $400 on the FB marketplace or the groups. if you get them cheaper anywhere else then you are luckier
