Not seeing the comparison but whatever floats your boat. As others have said, the current 4Runner seems to be taking the place of what the Land Cruiser used to be. I'm just glad I have a 4Runner and hope to have a Land Cruiser in the future.

The 5G Toyota 4Runner is the spiritual successor to the 80 series Land Cruiser.
The TRD PRO grille easily displays this with the 'TOYOTA' wording prominently displayed on the grille.
Take a look at the 80 series with the same 'TOYOTA' wording and similar bar with the wording on it.
It's also built on the Land Cruiser 150 frame.
It's similar dimensions and wheel base to the 80 series.
Also-it's reliable which a Land Rover is clearly NOT.
It's common to see older 4Runner from the 90s with 300-500K miles still being daily driven.
Also, 80 and 100 series Land Cruisers are common daily drivers, can't say the same for any Land Rovers.
