All I could install were the hatch lights. The others were annoyingly bright. One Only lasted about 3 days the other is still working. My wife has the 4runner in the upper peninsula and I'm stuck dealing with crap in South Carolina so I havent been able to diagnose. I noticed on my way to the airport and swapped them from side to side and the working led was fine on the other side but the bad one still didnt light up . I have the other boards for spare parts I guess

I'm looking for some really bright hatch lights, if you have any suggestions.
Didn't get much feedback obviously but I went ahead and purchased them anyway. Couldn't be happier with them. Turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.
I have seen where the front ones burn the PCB's on the front overhead assembly. I would stick to festoon bulbs. I don't want my map lights to be so bright anyways. I usually switch out the driver 194 bulbs in my car to lower wattage yellow bulbs.
I did install the Cartrimhome rear hatch lights, and I think they're great. They are not controlled by a PCB like the front map lights, so I don't forsee heat issues. The housing never seems to get hot, and the light they provide is so much better than OEM for the trunk. Makes a nice bright spot to work under the hatch, and I can see everything in the trunk.
