I CANNOT decide on a lift....

I want to do as little as possible really, don't want to do shocks and UCA's, etc

most importantly, keep stock sized tires -- I may go up a size to 275 when these are replaced

I want to really lift the front up 1.5-2" and the back under 1"

right now running the TRD Pro tires on stock rims, Nitto 265/70

I know the 1" cornfed may look OK (I found that thread on here), but wanted to go up just a tad more to at least level out the front if I don't do anything in the back. that's why I mention doing a 1.5" but then do I just skip the back and do diff shocks? or what?

it's hard to find pictures with stock tire sized, lifted 4Runners on here

cornfed has some great pics of the 2/1" but none of their pictures have stock size tires, they are all 285 it seems, looking at their site and Facebook and various other places

help me out, anyone?

I used these threads when deciding if I wanted to stick with stock size tires after lifting 2"

Any lifted 4Runners with stock tire size?

Anyone have 265 tires with a lift?

Eibach pro kit, no need for control arms. Great improvement over stock. I know its more then your looking at, but it cant be beat for the price. 265 Toyo's.

Your two best options, as I see them:

1/ Billstein 6112 with your choice or rear shocks. I run Icon 2.0. Add 1" rear Eibach springs. Total: 1,000. Huge difference everywhere, front has different levels of adjustment. If you have any weight at all, you may want to go 1 notch up from what the guide says. So, instead of 3 and 5 for 1.6" lift, 4 and 6.

2/ Eibach shocks and rear spring with Dobinsons front spring (the 1" one, which is great quality) OR you can even keep the stock spring if performance matters less. This will be around 600 with stock front and 800 with Dobinsons front. So better get the Billstein 6112.

The Eibach kit may seem like a great value but for a couple hundred more you can get adjustable Billstein 6112 with matching rear shocks which is both cheaper and better than an entry level performance suspension such as Fox 2.0 or Radflo 2.0 and which will perform better than any of the good, sound, non-performance options like Eibach, Dobinsons twin tubes, or 5100s.

The 6112 are extraordinarily smooth in town so it is not like it is an offroad upgrade only. At least if you stay at 2 or less (true for all).
