Need help finding a dpdt switch that will fit the 4runner dash

I have lights that have a high and low beam, thus needing a dpdt switch (on-off-on) rather than a standard push (on-off) switch.

I have this switch here, which works great, except it doesn't fit!

Not a direct fit, but I managed to fit one of these in where the “party button” is with minor trimming, may be a consideration.

Switch Contura SPDT ON-OFF-ON RG - Solid Kit

Hey myarrowsaim & @HoustonT4R ,

Why not use an spst "AOB Switch" and TWO 12V SPDT relays?? It'll accomplish what you want it to, cost about $10 bucks for a pk of five on ebay ( 5Pcs DC 12V Car SPDT Automotive Relay 5 Pin 5 Wires w/Harness Socket 30/40 Amp | eBay ), and very easy to connect right near the switch or under the hood(?)!

So you'll use two relays... just connect both coils; terminals #85 & 86 together (in parallel) NEG to NEG and POS to POS. And you'll have 4 poles; load circuits (2 extras), which you won't need... really simple to do, and the AOB switch will fit perfectly in the dash like a factory switch; even the back lighting will match your other dash switches!

Use Helux-Prado push button AOBSW800 & 900 series! Search results for: 'Aobsw800' 'Best to you',

Just thought I'd add a couple of pics,

one's with LED's turned off (upper); only the Parking lamps/low-beams are on, and one w/LEDS turned on (lower)!

rig, cheers!

Thanks Rigtec. I already have my wiring done though and don't want to have to re-do it to add more relays. I just want to pop a switch in ideally.

I think that is a Contura X switch? I found one online that is dpdt. I'll order it and give it a shot
