2012 Low Beam LED replacent wont fit

I recently purchased LED replacements. Only 3 of 4 fit. The pasenger side Low beam will not go in due to the body being in the way. I would have to remove the whole housing to install. Anyone else had this issue with replacements? BTW there are no dust caps on the 2012.

Hi D!cksneed,

You said (in the thread title) "Low-beam" LED replacement won't fit; but then you said 3 of 4 fit(?); which leads me to believe that you're replacing the "High & low-beams" as well? Did you get "H-11" for the Low-Beams, cuz the high-beams, (9005 or H-9) are different?

I replaced my factory Halogens with LEDs and H-11 DO fit. Granted, the low-beams are in a bad spot, but you have to be careful to assure that you have the "Three point flange" with the proper side-up; ...it is VERY difficult!

Are you talking about the body of the light? The metal fin portion? I had to file mine down a little to get it to fit.

@D!cksneed .... gainman is correct.

There is this piece of metal that blocks some LEDs from a direct fit. Get up on a chair and look diagonally into the light socket, you will see the piece of metal that blocks it.

Line the light tabs up correctly and see where you need to file the housing down, then it will be a perfect fit.

I know you shouldn't have to do that, but it works!
