Help needed: s&b cai does not fit my 2018 sr5.....
Looks like I am not driving into work today.... The s&b cia does not fit my 2018 sr5 as advertised! Most people have an issue lining up the holes. The intake box does not fit where the OE cai was.
Seems other 4runner do not have this item here. Has anyone else had this issue? How did you get the intake box to fit? If I have to put the OE intake back, going to return this.
In this screen cap, you can see the cai box fits nicely over the "stand offs".
Here are two angle for my vehicle. I cannot get the cai box to fit with the bracket there. None of the tutorials or videos have ABS pump located there.
If I missed something or a technique, let me know. Will gladly eat crow.

OP, this seem like your problem?
I had a credit with the Toyota dealership I purchased my 2018 4runner from. I had them order this for me based on research I had conducted and videos I watched on the product. THIS IS NOT A READY MADE BOLT ON ACCESSORY. The components are well made and that is where the wow factor ends. The air box that the filter resides in is well made, heavy duty just very poorly located attachment points, the holes to attach this box to the factory attachment points are misaligned be prepared to do some work. Using a dremel with a cutting bit I had to cut 2 of the holes open about an inch larger to allow for 2 of the bolt down attachment points to line up, the 3rd hole could not be modified to align so used 2 attachment points which works fine. The rigid airflow tube that attaches the filter to the physical intake on the engine had to be cut, removing an 1.5 inches of its length to allow the pipe fitment and the air filter attachment point to seal properly within the air box. minor issues: Screws to attach the mass air flow to the pipe were too short they barely had enough room to attach so I will replaced them. Hose clamps provided were marginal as to size fitment. This is a good product but the attention to detail or quality control as well as the supplied hardware were poor.

I WISH that was my issue. The CAI box/housing does not fit in the location specified. In the sr5's (rear wheel I think) the ABS pump is mounted next to the intake box. This isn't the case for other 5th gen trims.

Thanks man. Working with my vendor on this issue. Would prefer it get installed, but I don't see how. I trust that I'll get a refund.
Hopefully your pictures can show me if the AFE will fit. It is still on sale at wheelwell for $220. If not, need to fine someone who owns trd intake that can takes pictures from the same angle I mentioned or is a lowly sr5 owner.

Seems all the 4wd versions have the eABS pump as part of the brake master so they don’t have it remotely mounted on the passenger side inner fender

I have a 19 SRS Prem 2wd, I had no issues with the TRD CAI install. It lines up fine with all the mounting points. I can post some pics if u want later today.

Here is basically the angle I need. Like this guys runner, I have the abs pump mounted on the passenger fender. Need to determine if there is enough room for the afe filter housing.
For whatever reason my imgur links aren't showing up. Here is the link to the pic.

Sorry to hear that. First I've heard of that. I have an Airaid MXP on mine, but I have 4WD. The rearmost mount the stock airbox used is not used with this intake, so may be an option for you. Would a photo of mine be helpful?

I took these last night, didn't see your post until this morning. I have a 4WD SR5P, but hopefully this answers your questions with the AFE Momentum GT. If you need different angles let me know

Yes, I will take that tonight for you. I'm pretty sure the stand offs are visible if memory serves.
