unknown part?

Greeting I recently got a 2019 4Runner I found the below in the cargo area with a front license plate frame and floor mats. I can not find what it is suppose to go to anyone have any idea?

Definitely looks like a piece of roof gutter trim insert. Does your T4R have an aftermarket roof rack? I ended up with scrap pieces of gutter trim that had to be cut off to accommodate my aftermarket roof rack. Looked just like your photo.

Maybe, but why only 1? It has a factory roof rack on it. unless it was something the factory removed to put their rack on it then tossed one into the back and forgot to discard both of them.

It may be the roof rack rail stopper/ spacer for the rear crossbar to keep it in the optimum spot. I had 2 that look very similar that came in my box.

I don’t think it’s the rubber stopper since I installed factory cross bars and that does not look like them at all. However that part looks familiar but just can’t place it.
