i posted in the other thread but ill put here also...
FYI, for those wondering about price - i am in the NYC metro area and the dealer i work with told me they would charge $2500-$5000 over MSRP for the 2020 4R TRD Pro...i waited a couple weeks and told them that other dealers were offering MSRP and that if they did not want to sell it to me for MSRP then i would go elsewhere. I got an email back in about 30 minutes saying theyll have a Pro for me at MSRP....
DO NOT pay over MSRP...dont let them tell you that is the only way
bottom line - they just wanna move vehicles...in todays world theyll take a sale over trying to squeeze out an extra K or 2...NEGOTIATE

I was debating whether to get 2020 army green vs. 2019 voodoo blue trd pro. ultimately decided on the 2019. Could not justify few grand extra for apple carplay, army green color (im going to wrap my car anyways), dual climate control, etc.
But if I see one on the road, ill for sure be drooling 🤤

Where's the fun in that? Then you can't come on an Internet forum and brag that you spent $57K on a 4Runner

Yikes. Here I was wondering if the $43k I paid for a new Cement was too much.

This post is AIDS and should be gone. Brags about pissing a pile of money away and then doesn't show a single pic in the original post.

My biggest takeaway from this post:
When people have to give a long winded explanation as to why they decided to do something, they usually don't have much confidence in their own reasoning and have many second thoughts.
Mostly, they're just looking for reassurance from the outside.

Could have bought a used Pro, donated $10k to charity, then stuck a giant eggplant emoji on your back window, but hey

Christ... it's like all the Honda fan buys moved up to 4Runners after reading these replies. What a bunch of dicks.
OP, congrats on your purchase. You'll love it and nothing beats getting exactly what you want.

I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone reading this post. Way too much info and self-declaring being a really nice guy was just..what? Congrats OP, but this is the image I had in my head throughout this whelming rollercoaster.
