From my conversations with a few local dealerships, 2020 SR5s and 2020 SR5 Premiums are in transit and will be arriving in the next two weeks to Denver area dealerships. One stated that there is a significant amount of 19s still in the area so they will be streamlining deals on the 19s.

Im new here. A 2020 SR5 PREMIUM 2wd WILL BE MY 1st 4 runner. With my ranger racking over 257k miles and tranny needs a rebuilt I NEED A TOW VEHICLE to tow my YFZ450R!

NEED TO MAKE A DEAL ASAP BEFORE DECEMBER so i dont have to pay registration on my 2017 corolla trade car and rackup more miles. NO SAN DIEGO dealer has any 2020s. El cajon, NADA, Poway no go. Frank toyota nothing.... WHEN !!!

WHEN I test drove a 2019 sr5 4 runner oh krappp it has goood off the line accceleration was hauling azz at mile of cars with filipino sales guy riding along. Hauled azzz on trolley tracks and this thing FEELS SOLID NO RATTLES NO WANDERING AROUND NOTHING. NO VIBRATIONS. WANT push button start to get going ASAP. THEN did a 2nd test drive from slobs of chula vista on a 2019 to be sure it has towing power up the I-8 to reach my riding trails and stepped on it off the line REALLY GOT ON THE ACCELERATOR and wow this engine feels good off the line. Im coming from a 2.3 ranger so this will be a HUGE UPGRADE.

SHOULD I START THE COSTCO PROCESS NOW AT COSTCO WEBSITE ? WHICH DEALERS IN SAN DIEGO PARTICIPATE?

WHEN I GOT MY NEW 2018 YFZ450RSE FROM COSTCO AUTO PROGRAM AT MOTOWORLD OF EL CAJON NO BS NO GAMES SIMPLE IN AND OUT.

Got a sub $40k purchase price on an ORP to report. Been chatting with someone on the other forum, and he picked it up this weekend in Eugene. Price before tax, license, $39,999.99. MSRP was $44,249: ORP, with moonroof, sliding rear deck, all weather mats and roof rack cross bars - no KDSS

Must have been at Kendall. I bought a Rav from them years ago.

Anyone seen pricing on an ORP with KDSS?

Best price I have seen for an ORP with KDSS is $42,596

If you assume the dealer cost on KDSS is $1500, the sub $40k price mentioned above with KDSS would be in the $41.5k range - that is at dealer cost prices though. Getting lower.

Keeping in mind the hold back on these is -$900 from invoice, I think you hit the nail on the head at 41.5k being the bottom. They have no reason to discount these aggressively, and invoice is already cutting it for them.

Yeah, that seems to be the bottom right now and I don't see much reason for them to move below that $41.5k at this point - and likely through the end of the year. Will likely be determined by how fast they can get rid of the 2019's - they are definitely dropping big discounts on those right now. I would take that deal immediately if a dealer offered at that price.

Nice - good to see Costco coming down and stabilizing those lower prices a bit.
Now I just need to work on my Costco dealership to actually engage with me on some pricing and not tell me to reach out to them in 2-3 months, that would be great. They are telling me they haven't rec'd a single spec sheet on any 2020 yet.

Hey Gambler,
Which dealer did Costco throw you to? I am also in SD and it sounds like you are working with a different dealership. As for my opinion, I like the Silver on the SR5 for some reason. Best looking straight stock setup.

Looks like TrueCar has now added the 2020 4Runner to it's inventory searches. TexasEagle from another thread pointed this out this morning and had this information to say:

"Ok, figured out how to search for the 2020 on TrueCar, if you have that site available to you. When you search for the 4Runner, it only shows the 2019. Click on that, configure it as you like, and then when you have the overview it has a "View 2020" button. Click that and you're off to the races."

I just gave it a shot and it worked, and I received a follow up email with 3 dealerships, but none had any 2020 inventory in my area, San Diego.

Do you know what they are charging you for the exhaust?
