Dash Lights Blinking - Causes?

Hey all, I don't post much on here, but I have searched and haven't been able to find this same issue in another thread. After driving for extended periods of time, say 20 minutes or more with the A/C on, my 4Lo light starts blinking, the traction control light comes on, and so do the ABS and e-brake lights. This only happens when the A/C has been running. My theory is condensation from the A/C is dripping onto a sensor causing these lights to come on. Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to go about fixing it?

Take it to the dealer if it’s still under warranty?

I'm over 72k miles, so I think I'm outside of warranty coverage, unless it's different for electrical components.

I had this happen to me when a shop, installing Dobinsons springs on my TRDP, broke the wire running down to the ABS sensor. My Dash lit up like a Christmas tree same as yours. It’s not a ton of help but I do think you should check to see if something is affecting that sensor specifically, the ABS sensor.
Once the dealership replaced the sensor cable my 4Runner was good as new.

Take a good luck at and clean / tighten the battery terminals. This happened on my wifes Camry and the positive battery cable clamp was hosed.

I don't know if this particular thread will help you, if it doesn't i'd check rigtec's posts because he is/was a great resource especially with electrical problems, who grew fed-up with this place and I don't blame him at all. Instrument Cluster warning Icons all lit-up!

good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I'll do some research on the ABS sensor and see where that leads.

Rigtec's post has some great info. I will definitely take a look at the 10A ecu fuse. And I'll also get my battery checked out. I'm sure it's original to the truck (2014), so maybe it's getting a little long in the tooth.

I would expect nothing less. That's why they are the last option.

i forget what sequence lights came on for me I know it wouldnt let me go from 2 wheel to any 4 wheel modes. Abs was flashing...

Turns out it was a rear wheel bearing when I took it to the dealer. Some sensor back there wasnt having it

good luck!

Hey all. So it's been a while since I made this thread, and during that time I had no issues with the lights coming on, until yesterday after the a/c had been running. It's so strange that it only seems to happen on days when I ran the a/c, but anyhow. I crawled up under the truck today and did my best to inspect all of the ABS wires and make sure the connections were tight, and everything looked fine from the outside. I don't really have the tools to check the wiring, so I plan to call my buddy's shop on Monday.

All of that is fine, BUT my question is this - is the truck safe to take on a road trip to Asheville NC next week? It's about 370 miles one way (~5.5 hours). I don't plan on doing any wheeling while I'm there as we're mainly going for hiking and kayaking.
