My Toyota salesperson said these things could, and I'm quoting, "Keep up with those Trophy Trucks down in Baja....". As a Trail Edition owner, I can confirm it is most definitely not BJ Baldwins Baja Truck, if still impressive on the rough stuff.

So you three all voted a half dozen times in the poll?
So where is the box that says, "It's not a 2004 Land Rover Discovery"?

Added second set of Toyo M/Ts at 86900 miles.Added RCI OFF-ROAD Rock Slidersat 84000 miles. Added RCI OFF-ROAD front skid plate at 90,000 miles. Daily driver and so far spending about 30% of time/mileage off-road. Previous truck 2004 Land Rover Discovery that also spent about a third of it's life off-road. I HANG AROUND HERE "THE T4R FASHION FORUM" JUST FOR LAUGHS.
Perfect vehicle as it stands for northern Nevada terrain. Keep it stock - it'll go most anywhere as is.

I hate my 4Runner because:
1. It's cooler than I am
2. More people like my truck than like me
3. I can't dream of my next rig because I like it too much
Want me to go on?

It always talks me into spending more money on her.
Wife thinks I am having a secret affair with the truck, she always catches me looking.

I ****ing DESPISE these brakes. Its either very subtle braking or OMG MASTER WANTS ME TO STOP ****ING NAO!!!!!
of course everyone wants more HP... who doesnt. But these trucks need torque not necessarily more HP. My girlfriend said I should call my old Subaru "the ranch" because it was where all my horses lived -_______-

For a long time I wanted a Discovery but could not get past the lack of reliability and cost to repair; heard too many horror stories.
