the front axle disconnect is automatic, no extra steps

just do what it says in your owners manual or sunvisor or watch the toyota video

Last question. Yes I know... This guy again complicating things.

Ok when you shift to 4 lo from 4 hi in neutral and foot on brake squeeze lock thing push down and rotate and wait for cluster light confirmation. I get that.

When rotating the knob from 4lo to 4hi in neutral and foot on brake do you also have to push down THE ROTATION KNOB into 4hi or only push down the rotation knob going into 4LO?

2020 4 runner is nice !!! Rattle free. Amazing !!!

Last question... Can my 4 runner detect when going up hills highways and hold 4th gear without going into 5th? Thats pretty cool !!! Once uphills level out it goes into 5th. SWEEET !!

Ditto, read it and make sure it is the section for your particular model
