That is completely false, but the dealership may have their own policy to not special order parts without VIN fitment verification. If your dealership won’t order it then go to another one, or order online. I posted links a few pages back to the two parts you need to order, with discounted online prices. You only need the two parts that bojack72 referenced. It will say it’s on backorder. Go ahead and place your order. Mine arrived within a couple weeks.

Ive seen this fuse box being an issue as well. Would love to hear or see how and where you moved that box. LFD makes a bracket for the passenger side I think will work for a compressor but the future may be bringing in a dual battery setup.

Thanks for confirming the parts.
As far as removal and installation goes, could you confirm if a video of a ‘19 is the exact same process as a ‘20 (minus the TSS)? Are there any videos of the ‘20 installation yet?
Got my 2020 ORP with KDSS coming next week hopefully. I’m a long time Landcruiser guy and this is my first 4Runner and I’m pumped!

how do you go around the TSS on 2020?
The website says specifically it DOES NOT FIT 2020 front.

Just picked up my 2020 TRD Off Road Premium... Love it so far. Traded in a 2017 Rav4. This is a HUGE step up... :P
No KDSS though. Figured when the time is right to start upgrading, I'd upgrade suspension anyway. In like 7 years... Opted for the moon roof, everyone seems to rave about that airflow when the back window is down.
Next step; running boards/nerf bar. Like the look of the Predators, but unsure. Then maybe a roof basket.

I used a video of a 2019 to help. There’s no difference, and installation instructions are included in the box.

On Saturday I picked up a new 2020 TRD Off Road Premium in Nautical Blue. It has the moon roof, no running boards. Not sure what else it has as an option.
I traded in my 2015 Trail.
It drives better and seems more powerful, but that may just be in comparison to a 5 year old 4Runner with 65K miles.
The suspension definitely feels softer than my 2015 Trail. I know some people thought the Trail models were too stiff. They're stiffer than the TRD Pros.
Im not having blue tooth issues, but I am having issues with the Entune and other connected services.
Not sure if the dealer needs to activate the new vehicle in the system or what.
but my Entune apps are not showing up in the vehicle or in the Entune 3.0 app.
I never get the activation email or any of that. I am registered on the Toyota and the Toyota Owners apps.
My phone does connect via bluetooth and Apple Car Play works fine.

Does the OEM parts still have a gap on each side similar to the Chinese knock-offs?
Assuming there is a steep markup? Anyone have a dealer cut a good deal on these?

There is a small gap but it’s not noticeable unless you’re looking for it. Gray or black 4Runners will not be as noticeable as white.
My dealer price matched the online price + shipping. I had a parts coupon negotiated with the purchase as well and I paid less than $300 for the two parts.
