I bought my 2020 TRD Off Road Premium thinking it came with the remote start via the app. The salesman even said it did.
I found out after that only the Limited and the TRD Pro have those features.
My 2015 Trail came with the factory option remote start.
Does anyone know if the remote start can be ordered from Toyota as an accessory? I don’t mean the app remote start, but the traditional one that works using the key fob?
I’m only interested in the Toyota one, which should plug into factory harnesses.

Same happened to me, since I don’t need that feature I don’t care but when you want that you’ll find a lot about the plug n play aftermarket solutions here on the forum, you may have to wait a little until they’re available for the 2020

I'm in the same position. If you find an OEM solution - please share!

Has anyone else noticed a lot of vibration coming from the off-road gear box? Is this normal? When I drive on the freeway and streets the shifter in the gear box for the 4x4 (which is always in a neutral state) seems to get pretty noisy. Wondering if it is a 2020 issue or just a normal thing with off-road vehicles.
Any way to make it less noisy?

I have noticed a little bit of noise occasionally. If there is a trick to silence it, I would love to know.

I tried to order the TRD Pro/Heritage grille (garnish and radiator up) from Maita Toyota in Sacramento. No dice. Wouldn’t even take the order today. Told me to check back in a couple of months.

Carplay issue fixed with new head unit update!
Just read this on another 4runner forum posted today... If you're having Carplay issues, go to the dealership and have them update your head unit to the new software version 1047.
I'm having mine done on Thursday!

Is there any way to do this manually?

HI everyone
I'm just taking delivery on my new super white TRD Off Road 4Runner this evening. I think here in the Canadian market the TRD Off Road comes all equipped with KDSS, Climate Control, Sun Roof and side steps. I'll post some pics later this weekend.

What’s the best way to get the fog lights on w/ the parking lights?
I disabled the DRLs through the settings on the head unit.
For my last Wrangler, I used an AEV ProCal, which offered many different settings (adjusted speedometer for larger tires, activate fog lights as DRLs, etc.). Curious if there is something similar for the 4Runners?

Just picked up a 20 ORP in NB. Loving it so far.
The lighting left me really underwhelmed and after some digging around here I decided on XenonDepot HID's, but I've been having a time getting in touch with them. Any idea what's going on over there? 2 unanswered emails to support and I was on hold for 30 minutes yesterday before requesting a call back that never came. Currently up to 40 minutes on hold.
Is this normal? A little nuts for a business that seems to be all over these forums...
