Centrifugal SC on a 4runner?
A steep, linear powerband comes to mind with not much under the curve. Am I wrong for immediately picturing a race car with peaky HP at the upper end with not much down low?

I was really intrigued with this kit until I saw what size blower they picked... it is oddly huge for a kit based on a stock motor... I feel like they could have picked something smaller that would have spooled way faster, but maybe they chased a peak number for advertising purposes...
Last time I inquired about this kit, they hadn't shipped a single one yet... I don't think the kit was actually finished...

Interesting yea. I know they are shipping/installing them... they put one on a 2016 4R just yesterday (not mine) and i know of atleast 1 guy on instagram that did their beta test program and has it installed already.
keeping my eyes peeled for a review to pop up on here sometime!

You are spot on. I had a P1SC on my Mustang and that's a perfect description of how it will work on a low torque engine. It takes RPM. A positive displacement like the Maggie is what these trucks need.

I’m going to be going this route as I already have a 1000whp procharged mustang that I can’t get enough of. The whistle and jet like sound they produce is music to the ears of any real car guy. A PD blower would be best for a truck when towing and needing more torque down low, but the procharger makes linear power and still is way more responsive throughout the entire power band not just wide-open throttle or upper RPMs. I was on the fence between the Whipple and procharger but I like the fact that there’s less moving parts with the procharger not having a pump for liquid to air intercooling etc. I’ll be pulling the trigger within the next month so I’ll keep everyone posted.

If they make 50% more power as apposed to the other options at 30%, that could put us at 405hp and 417ftlb. Can the a750f hold up to that?

There was a mentioning that A750F torque capacity is 368 Ft-Lbs
And it was in the older smaller v8 land cruisers from 2003 to 2007

The Ecu tune should increase clamping force (line pressure) for the clutches in the tranny which would be the failing point when making more torque. These are relatively lower power levels in the scheme of things so I would think it should be all good. I’ll find out haha

Some lady on FB claimed that she had one and it was developed on her Runner because hubby works at Procharger but of course no videos and dyno chart.
