I don’t know about your area but around here a lot of people use “race radios” and or MURS radios. Basically a VHF radio for frequencies in or around the 151-157 mhz range.

It’s a lot more popular than CB around here… might be worth considering something like this as well.

The antenna requires are also far smaller and easy to find a quality handheld that will work a lot better than CB.

CB Radio is a really cool buy. It adds many new features and a lot of new communication. You managed to lay the wires very nicely and neatly, I really like it. And how does CB Radio work after a year, is everything okay, no interference or problems with the radio? I'm just thinking about buying and installing such a radio too. I recently read about CB Radio through the source Citizen Band (CB) Radio - No Wires Radio and I was very interested in this radio. I remember my grandfather used this when he lived on the farm. But as I know many people use it in towns as well, people communicate with other drivers and even receive emergency messages about the situation on the road. In my opinion CB Radio is a really cool thing, it's a pity that it is used less and less. So what is your opinion should I install such a Radio?
