Updates

So couple things.. According to Ryan at Elbach the front fox suspension is not adjustable via different perch settings.
2nd I installed a new set of TRD fox shocks on my Trail Premium with KDSS today (looks and feels amazing). Measurements before and after;

Before center hub up
19.5 Front L/R
21.85 Rear LR

After
20.50 Front right
21.00 Front Left

22.50 Rear left
21.75 Rear Right

Update: Ride quality fantastic. I seem to have .5 lean on both front and rear. I will try the equalization procedure, but most likely sticking a .5 inch spacer in the front

Update 2: install shop did the equalization procedure after install, so you'll definitely want a .5 spacer in front and rear passenger side, if you want perfection. I might hold off on doing this as it's not really noticeable.

@osideplayer

interim update. i bought two sets of TRD Fox setup and picked them up in december when i went to the US. last weekend installed one set (two rears, and two passenger side suspensions) on my wife's 2010 Limited, yes i removed the XRES stuff. I will be installing the the second remaining set (two rears and two driver side suspensions) on my 2020 /w KDSS in the next two to three weeks - weather permitted. as you can see i am mix/matching the two sets for both the runners to avoid any lean issues on the 2020, the 2010 feels and looks right. I am going to do the exact measurements next week on the 2010 and post back here after some settling.

BTW the 2020 install will be with the Cornfed 3/8 inch top-out spacers (resulting into 3/4 inch height on top of Fox) in the front.

I am sure it needs to settle a bit more. I will update my measurements in a month or so. Just from looking at it though. Its hard to notice the lean without measuring tape. Ride quality is Fantastic.

I'd be interested to see how yours comes out. I have been taking more and more measurements and finding I also have about .5 lean in rear. The front is the same. .5 lean
RR 21.75
LR 22.25

The TRD rear shocks seem to be the same length so I find it odd I am getting lean in the rear. I wonder if it's because of the front. I should find out after your install. BTW you are going to love the ride. SOOOO Plush!!

yes coming from 2019 Pro, I really fell in love with the TRD Fox for the 100+Kms daily drive so bought two sets. wife didnt care about upgrading her runner but she wanted the TRD Fox as well after riding my 2019 Pro.

from what i have been reading, the rear passenger side coil can use a 10mm top spacer custom made by CornFed to level both the left and the right. but before you consider it, wait for my results and then we can compare and you go from there in terms of what tweaks you want to do. on a facebook forum, i also checked with ScottFisher about my theory of putting two driver side or the two passenger side TRD fox shocks in the front /w KDSS. In theory it should work and not result into any lean. so i am very curious to find out. stay tuned.

job of installing a Full TRD Fox Suspensions front and rear successfully completed today on my 3 months old 2020 TRD-OffRoad with KDSS. NO cornfed 3/4 spacer although bought, NO rear spacers. Also used rear coils that came with the TRD Fox.

installed TWO driver side TRD Pro Fox suspensions on both the Passenger and Driver Side. I actually had this install done at a dealer to keep the warranty intact but the service man FLIPPED the front sway bar for whatever reason - he said it was coming in the way of the oil filter. Today I corrected everything and FLIPPED BACK the sway bar and everything installed perfectly. Scott Fisher @Aiden James gave me some tips and confirmed that the KDSS Swaybar in its original position should not cause any issues. so at home today, I completed the project using with ratchet straps to ensure the the KDSS cylinder doesn't expand all the way while flipping the sway bar.

anyway, the most positive result i want to share with you all is that the 4R with KDSS is 100% levelled in all sides. ABSOLUTELY ZERO lean issue after the install. Wheel Center to Fender measures 21.5 inch both FRONT Driver and Passenger Side, and 22.5 inch for REAR Driver and Passenger Side. Ground to Front Fender on both sides is approx 35.75 to 36 inches and the rear is 36.80 to 37 inches on both sides. Alignment measurements are in the pic.

This is great news! Truck looks amazing too!

Did you end up installing a 10mm rear spacer too?

no I did not.

forgot to mention that I also did NOT install cornfed 3/4 front spacers. there is approx 1 inch difference between the front and the rear and I am fine with the slight rack in the front.

Also, I did change the rear springs, and used the ones that came with the TRD Fox suspensions. the tech was saying that Pro coils were a bit firmer but who knows. some people say that they are the same coils in the TRDOffRoad and the TRDPro. Parts website had rear springs as part # 48231-35340 for KDSS, vs 48231-35450 for the Sports suspension (whatever that means), and 48302-35050 for 2WD.

the ride feels absolutely amazing BTW. need to drive a bit more to see how the KDSS with TRD Fox performs compared my VooDoo TRD Pro.

It really is an unbelievable ride. Damn good research and execution on your part.

I'm going back to the shop and dropping a .5 spacer on the front passenger side.

thank you for the valuable information here. i have a kdss 5th gen and have a full set of pro fox suspension (have not installed yet). do you see any difference with 2 passenger sides in front or 2 driver sides in front? do you think there is zero lean with either 2 passenger or 2 driver side sets? are there height differences between both?

You should have 0 lean with two passenger coils as they are the same length

On other news. I added a 1/2 spacer to the front passenger and it evened out the back too. I am now pretty much level.

Are you running equal height fox fronts?

I am not running identical front shocks. I am using the complete set that comes with a taller (more compressed) Driver side shock which is about .5 inch taller than the passenger side shock.

I installed the second set with the two passanger side TRD Fox on my wife's 2010 Limited with the rears and the rear coils. it currently has winter tires on her 20inch OEM rims and measures 1 inch shorter in all direction from the ground to Fender. let me measure hubcap center to fender and will let you know how it compares to my 2020 OffRaod with two DriverSide front Fox. will let you know.
