Baja Designs WC Squadron Sport - Example

I don't see too many examples of these with Wide Cornering lenses. I just got a set so I hope this helps some of you decide if you want to get them in this configuration or not.

FWIW: I have stock halogen low/high beams.

Baja Designs WC Squadron Sport Amber LED Fog Pocket Kit

I plan on getting the Driving combo lens kit to compare.

Your video looks on par with my Baja Designs Squadron sport wide cornering, light thrown up into the sky at a 30 degree angle.

This is one reason why I want to try the driving combo lens!

Haha I got these on a rush today for the CBI front bumper install because the ones I brought with me weren't going to work. When I got them I saw the wide cornering and was pretty clueless on what that meant.

From the testing in the shop and on the road for a minute these don't seem very road friendly.

I agree, though I didn't get them for on-road use, I'd really like to see how the Driving Combo is on-road hah.

For on-road use you'll want the SAE version.

I bought the Driving Combo along with the Amber wide cornering lenses. I installed the Driving Combo lenses on my squadron sports and they are too bright for use on roads with other cars. The driving combo lense throws light far, but also up high, similar to your high beams. I haven't tested out the wide cornering lenses yet, but they appear to throw light up high too from your video. Neither look road friendly.

Thanks, this is good to know! Driving Combo lenses sound worthy for off-road use!
