I used 70% xpel ceramic tint on my windshield it helped a little but had to get a beyond wrap stamp to really fix the issue. still get quite a bit of light into the cab off the hood but no sun lasers to the eyes.

I did my windshield in 50% as I do to all my rigs. It helped a lot but I'll probably do a wrap on the scoop eventually as well.

Has anyone thought of doing a matte clear overlay on the scoop?

I’ll trade for someone’s black scooped hood. Have a perfect 2020 black scoopless hood here

If it was white, I would totally trade.

Hood Glare Resolved

I had a local media company apply flat black 3M film. I ended up adding a hood deflector (not in this picture) after I noticed rock chips in the film.

I want to see someone make a decal similar to the one available for TRD Pro Tacoma... hell even just the middle part would be sick!

Must have had "party mode" on. It's known to attract all sorts, including cougars.

Wow, I can't believe all the hoops people jump through to accommodate this dumb thing. Just trade it away to an SR5 driver, they are drooling to get them for some reason. I did and I made a couple hundred bucks for my trouble. It's the only solution that completely eliminates the problem, while putting money INTO your pocket. Look how much better the truck looks without that fake codpiece on the hood.

I've had my 2019 white Pro for about 8 months and never noticed any glare until my ride home from work Monday and holy hell, about blinded me lol. And every day since on my ride home from work. Definitely about to order a pre-cut matte black decal.
Long term fix is called Army Green though.

I would never be able to find someone to trade with, since I have Shoreline Blue.
