2020 SR5 PREMIUM OEM STOCK ALLOY WHEELS lug nuts

On the manual of the 2020 4 runner it states wheel lug
nut torque:

Steel - 83 pounds

Aluminim - 76 pounds.

Nothing for alloy OEM STOCK STOCK STOCK wheels.

What are alloy wheels?

Does alloy equal cast aluminum?

Correct, it's referring to the aluminum. Alloy is just another way of saying that the aluminum is mixed with other metals to increase strength, reduce costs, or for whatever other reason a wheel manufacturer deems necessary.

For those that don't, but care to, know. Alloy wheel - Wikipedia

I'm sure Toyota knows what they're doing but thats not much torque. I did my Mustang the other day and they were 150#.

While those metal specific torque specs appear in the manual, I noticed that the product information/instruction inserts that came in the boxes along with my TRD Pro (Al alloy) wheels call for 83 lb feet. Conflicting info from Toyota. Go figure.

Torque values will vary from wheel to wheel, but there is a torque range for alloy wheel, and for a 1/2" stud, it's typically between 75-85, which accounts for both the SR5 wheel and the Pro.

In the case of the aforementioned Mustang, maybe it has 9/16ths studs? The torque range for alloys with that larger stud is much higher at 135-145. Or perhaps it has steel wheels.
