I’ve been looking at the below set (smoked amber w/ 4 lights), as their website says it is compatible for the ‘20s:

4Runner Raptor Light Kit Amber LED – Overland Depot

I like the idea of the 3 light set-up which locates them in the center of the upper grille; however, they seem very bulky and obvious. I prefer the low profile look of the 4 light set-up and the smoked lenses should keep them matching our MGM until they are on. Thoughts?
Not sure if I like 3 or 4 lights more. Both look nice and I kinda like the 3 light look too.

This is incredibly timely info for me. 500 miles on my 2020 TRDP and id like to dump the DRL’s for Raptor lights. Was t sure how to disengage them and it’s a freakin setting I can just turn off. Thank you.

By the way, here’s a more known setting but worth a reminder. The Nav screen has various settings too. One being the backlight color. It defaults to white, as in the OP’s pics, but it’s much easier on the eyes in a dark mode.

I switched to dark mode soon after I took this picture, several months ago. Much better!

No plan to install grille marker lights right now, but if I did I would go tiny single LEDs and a dark tint to make it dark and discreet. 3 markers only. But I don’t see it as a priority right now. My GOBI rack is due to arrive tomorrow, and I added rock sliders the other day. It’s not expensive to add the marker lights, but I haven’t gotten around to my electrical projects yet.

I actually installed in mt 2020 TRDP and they are really bright, so bright they could be used as DRL's now that I can actually turn my DRL's off it will look so much better. Only problem is that on the 2020 the fuse box is completely different from previous years and the lid will not close all the way. I'm using the INJ location though I wonder if there is a different location/fuse to use so that I can close the lid. I thought of even using a tape to keep dust and debris out of the fuse box.

Maybe you are not old enough to remember (looks like Whippersnapper02 is) , but these lights used to be called PARKING lights for a reason. I have seen clowns around here turn on their parking lights in the evening, then forget to turn on headlights when it gets dark and continue to drive. I respect that you prefer the look of amber lights, but in the evening or early morning, I prefer the look of headlights.

Those fools don’t forget to turn on their headlights, they know exactly what they’re doing.

Yeah, I believe you are correct! We also have those that drive here at night with NO lights, hoping someone will flash their lights at them...not a good idea.

I have a 2020 TRD Pro with the Auto headlights. Turning them off in the head unit also turns off the parking lights in Auto mode. Does anyone know how to leave it on Auto, but make it so just the amber/parking lights are on? Seems like the DRT and parking lights are tied together via the head unit setting.

Canadian 2020 owner here.... i went to that screen and that option specifically is not available On my 2020. Even in the manual it says not available in Canada. How else can one go about doing this, since the fuse box is different compared to years passes as well.

That's no doubt because DRLs are mandated by law in Canada; that's not the case in the US so it's an option.

never thought much about DRL's

My 4runner is a lot safer than any other vehicle I've owned. It has 8 airbags, (more than other SUV's )plus the TSS .
As for DRL's......they are not required in my state, I rarely use them, leave the switch off.

I know there is a method to disable the DRL in pre-2020 models documented in this forum. It involves modifying a wire connector and looks pretty simple. Good luck!

You may have to bend pin 2 in the DRL relay to achieve this.

DRL Disable but keep Auto Headlights
