Which UCA's to go with

I am about to install a new lift on my 2017 TRD ORP and need new UCA's. I won't be doing any major rock crawling but will be doing quite a bit of logging road type driving at a decent speed.

I am looking at what is the best UCA for the money. Who has the best ability for adjustment after the lift is installed? I want it to be able to be aligned properly and I know that the UCA could be a limiting factor in that process.

Thanks in advance for any and all help. I hope to be posting a build thread soon.

JBA UCA are a great product and price. I have not changed my stock ones yet but when I do these are what I am going to get. Do a search for them. Lots of great reviews.

Second these.
Sometimes JBA can cause tire clearance issues. Little more careful with wheel backspacing and offset.

Been using the Dobinsons for 2 months now and have been pleased too!

Doesn't adjust ability but with a 2-2.25 inch lift, the tech was able to get these numbers

I am looking for UCA's also and I am leaning towards JBA, they seem to be a site favorite. Also someone posted this in my thread so I will share it

Just put JBAs on mine. Great build quality, no issues installing, plenty of clearance. The ONLY downside to them in my mind is that you can't get them in any color other than red.

Which ones did you go with and how close is your tire to the UCA?

JBA Standard high casters. Not sure on the clearance but doesn't rub. I'll check how much I have tomorrow.

I watched that video and man does it have some great information. I do feel that they are a little biased for the last UCA since that is what they sell the most of though.

I like the JBA setup but with the recent insight into the rubbing, I am getting a bit nervous about pulling the trigger. The Dobinsons don't look like they have the ability to regrease them as easy as some of the other manufacturers do and that bothers me a bit as well.

I can tell I don't need anything as high end as the Total Chaos UCA's though

I have JBA arms. My only beef with the JBA arms is that the ball joints kinda suck. They're a house brand joint, but they're not similar in internal manufacturing to an OEM type joint. BUT... none of the other aftermarket ones are really close to OEM Toyota quality either. And at least the JBA joints are easy to replace. And they're not proprietary! So there's a bunch of better replacement options for not a lot of money. And they bolt in place, so swapping them out takes just a few minutes per side. No presses or other specialty tools requires. Just a couple wrenches and a hammer to pop the joint out of the spindle. My first set lasted about 25k miles. Hopefully set #2 will last longer. If not I'll replace with a non JBA joint that's better quality. Probably OEM GM parts would be the best quality joint. The JBA ball joint is still better than a uniball in terms of lifespan. But unfortunately not really a 100k mile joint.
