Will 295/70/17 rub the UCA with -10 offset 8.5” width wheels?
Just wondering if I need to go -38. Would probably prefer the -10 if I can get away with it.
Thinking of the SCS wheels with those specs. Thanks!
Yes I know different tire brands are different sizes but I was wondering if it was close or just not an issue.
I figure there is probably someone running these exact same specs who can chime in. I don’t wanna get the -10 then realize I need spacers

Why not get the ones with the bigger offset, that is what I am doing when I get new UCA's.

I was thinking the -38 will rub more on the outside and maybe I’ll have to modify the pinch welds as well..
Also sometimes I think the -38 is too aggressive (undecided on this)

Which UCA's do you have? Maybe get different ones that won't rub. I run 305's and I don't rub at all with +1. I know there are brands that won't rub on 295's

I have Icon tubular. Haven’t tried the combo to see if it rubs yet, but want to do it right the first time..

I don't recall hearing that Icons rub on 295's or larger regardless of offset. However, it's possible. JBA is the only (aftermarket) UCA brand I remember hearing of having problems with rubbing the control arm. Why not contact ICON and see what they say?
