Mine opens with so much authority once i pull it out a foot or so I feel like the runner will uppercut me and knock me out unconscious one day. Good thing I got the juke moves.

FFS, it's an SUV, not a Baja Race truck.

My hatch sucks too. I have to clean and jerk the damn thing up a few feet before it starts to move on it's own.

Struts give ZERO assist when first opening. I figured the struts were wearing out, I just haven't gotten around to replacing them.

OK, I'll buy that.

Still, the guy's reaction seems pretty extreme -- if he freaks out that much over the hatch, what's he gonna do the first time he engages Crawl Control and hears the noise it makes?

Huh? I called out a bunch of commenters who were jumping down someone's throat about a perfectly fair question about the tailgate...

Do you not get enough love at home?

Failing to see where the OP was "Freaking Out"

It's a perfectly reasonable question to ask, especially if he came from a vehicle that didn't require as much effort. Maybe he didn't come out of the womb as a "calm, competent, confident decision-maker" like you lol

Puberty may come for you soon. Then maybe you'll stop being a snowflake.

But did you fix anything about your tailgate or do you just lose sleep over it?

If you pay attention and see other threads and posts the OP makes, you will see that he is an idiot. It’s fair for people to flame him.

Bro doesn't even lift......

Anyway, as an aside, I noticed that with the gobi ladder my hatch is extremely easy to open/close. Like the counterweight that is the ladder has found the perfect weight resistance to the gas struts to make opening and closing nearly effortless. Just a small tug on that ladder and it pretty much closes itself.

I can see some folks in here do not get some chaca chaca. Kinda like going through a US border checkpoint. Holy krap. Some people feel they gotta up their ego. Everyone is tough on the internet.

If I install Bilstein 5100s with the front set at at 4.7" and the rear at 2.9" will 285s fit without rubbing?

...this forum has really gone downhill fast.
