I used to do my own brakes back in the sixties when I was in high school and they were drum brakes and easy to do. Nowadays, I rely on the dealer to do those things. I drive like the old guy I am so my brakes tend to last a long time.

back in the old days my first vehicle had 4 drum brakes.. the drums needed a cut on the outer edge because it was a B+tch to remove with no cut.. then the park brake PITA....rotors I have had no much problems ... but I do put anti seize on the hub surface so the rotor does not lock in place ... some people beat the hell on the rotor to remove it .. locked up with rust..
