2020 Venture
Thinking of trading 2015 and ordering 2020 Venture with KDSS, opinions?

Unless you just want the black trim parts you probably could add all the things (barring kdss) for much cheaper. Trd pro wheels + yakima basket

One thing about the Venture puts me off more than anything else: blacked out door handles. In the words of American poet, Sheryl Crow, “I’m gonna soak up the sun.” If there were one place that a chrome finish was truly called for, it might be where you need to touch the truck after it’s been baking away all day. Ouch.

Never been burned by plastic door handles before. It's almost as if it's not an issue what color they are.

To me with the unfinished/ blacked-out door handles and spoiler, it looks like the decontented discount model of the lineup. Instead it's being priced higher.
So I wouldn't buy one. But if someone likes the look, more power to them.

I support you. Not sure the sum of the individual upgrades are worth the premium (venture vs trd off road) but if it makes sense for you financially then the kdss, new infotainment and just having a new car may be worth it alone. Additionally if you don't have the trd off road already the transfer case lever and terrain select are cool.

I'm one of the oddballs that likes the black trim pieces. More muted and maybe more palatable for some on the Magnetic Gray. But likes are likes - people have different preferences.

Count me in as one of those oddballs. I’m picking up a 2020 MGM Venture today. Dropped by the dealer to take a look at it yesterday and it looks sweet. I’ll try to get some pics up later.

Sorry, I only have the one so far. I’ll take more as soon as there’s a nice day. Weather has been brutal since I picked it up on Wednesday. Mine is the Canadian model, but if you want pics of anything specific just let me know. Love this thing!

I’m one of the ones that’s actually ok with the Venture model. My original plan was to pick up an ORP and add the TRD wheels and maybe a roof basket at some point anyways but the dealer didn’t have a single 2020 ORP. I also had plans to go ahead and put a Pro front valence and grill in too so the blacked out valence is one less thing I have to worry about. I actually don’t mind the black mirrors and handles but I’ll admit I’m not crazy about the rear spoiler being black.. I also removed the basket and will put it back whenever I need to use it (vacation) plus I negotiated the price down enough that it was pretty good regardless of which way I went.
Can’t you all just let us enjoy our new T4R Venture lol. I mean, we did get a pretty sweet rim color at least!

I'm putting those wheels on my ORP. Hot damn that's a sweet combination with MGM.
