Slime line Front Bumper

Back order on my front Slimeline Southern Style bumper. It went from 8 to 12 weeks, and apparently I now have some extra time on my hands. 9 weeks in and I still haven’t even received notification that it’s gone into production- just a heads up for anyone thinking of placing an order. Their pretty backlogged at the moment.

I want to know where y’all been mounting your license plates? I don’t want to do a flip up. Has anyone tried to mount it under the fairlead with one of the brackets that drops down from the fairlead?

Or has anyone tried to mount it to the left or right of the fairlead directly onto the bumper? I don’t have any access holes.

Preferably, I thought something angled like whats on there now would work if you just turned it the other way because the bumper angles down. Has anyone tried that? If so, what mounting setup did you use?

Thanks!

I am thinking of this as well being from NJ. I will probably drill 2 holes in the bumper to the left or right of the fairlead and install 2 Rivnuts to accept the bolts. Should work well. I hate the idea of the flip up license plate.

On a side note I just received my SSO roof rack. They didn't have much in terms of communication other than the automated email letting me know that the material was ordered and notification of shipment, but quality was too notch.

I use a "WARRIOR HAWSE LICENSE PLATE MOUNT" You can buy one from SSO for $59.99. It doesn't flip, you remove it when using your winch.
