Anyone ever used JS Asakashi filters?

These made in Japan tranny strainers are very affordable and include both gaskets. The inlet side is slightly differently shaped than OEM but 1/4 of the cost.

honestly.. save yourself money and or time... its just a strainer not a filer.. take off the one you have in your vehicle clean it out.. let it dry and reinstall.. clean magnets from transmission pan.. put in fresh fluid and you'll be good for another 100k.. break-in is when the transmission sees most of its contamination and after that first fluid swap, your tranny will not get as contaminated as its first 36k of life

Ok, I was not sure if it was just a metal mesh strainer or an actual filter. The fluid looked pretty good at 85k and again at 95k. I did another pan drain as I was not sure of the level the first time. I need to fix the drain plug threaded area so I may just buy a new gasket.
