Icon Spherical Bearings - Diagnosis

I have Icon 2.5 extended travel shocks with no leaks and when on the trail yesterday I was hearing sort of clicking and ticking. My initial thought is that it’s the spherical bearings on the upper and/ or lower ends of the shocks themselves. Doesn’t really happen on road as there aren’t many rough patches but I do hear it here and there.

Has anyone had this issue and is there a way to clearly diagnose as everything is under load when sitting? I'd love it to be the bearings, just want to be sure prior to ordering.

Thanks!

you need to remove the shock and see if the bearing feels loose.
