Scotty Kilmer is a quack. His video titles are click bait because after I watch them, they are nothing like what his video titles describe.

He is guilty of click bait video titles. I agree.

He’s done some work for me. I was satisfied. I think he has pressured himself to produce so much video content that inevitably some are better than others.

He has a little trick. On Saturday mornings he does a live streaming podcast kind of thing then he breaks that down into segments to make stand alone videos. It's actually quite genius in a way.
I do think he should get away from the click bait titles though. He doesn't need to do that IMHO.
He just released another one talking about how the newer Toyota's use a cheaper made rotor that frequently warps in the first couple years of ownership. He's right about that. Toyota needs to get their quality control under control. They built up a good reputation over many decades; screwing it up now over a few dollars would be really stupid on their part.
How is he in person? Is he just as animated or a bit more subtle with his gesturing? He actually had a segment in a tv show years ago so this YT thing isn't exactly new frontier for him.

Missed my point. Scotty’s an old dude. Obvi.
To cast someone with 2,800,000 followers as a “nobody” is an error that paints its maker as a Fuddy Duddy.
Scotty’s living the life that the young’uns of today hope to live. He is, in effect, a role model.

I believe him to have had a couple too many beers. Listen to his speech.

Scotty has been a staple in Houston for ages. My mother was even his tax accountant for years. And he's always been an odd one (you have to in order to have lived in Montrose for so long).
He can be annoying and most of his videos can be clickbaity or just GM/FCA bash sessions (not that I disagree), but he has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to diagnosing car issues.

i like the way he puts up a pic of a chevy dealer in the upper right corner and calls it a junk yard... and when he laughs he puts up a pic of a horse with a big smile.

Youtubers will do anything or say anything to garner viewership and subscriptions... its entertainment.. scotty is barely informative.. he's mostly controversial and dramatic because that's what draws viewers.. therefore his advice is invalid in the real world

Being a Youtube celebrity in his age is pretty desireable considering you get to do what you love to do and get a lot more money other than the pension. I'm jealous.

Scotty didn't start with 2.8million, give them some time. I do like Scotty and Lite Brite though. I got rid of cable, waste of money now that you can get just about anything on the internet.
