I’m interested in this, they do make a complete cf overlay for your entire dash trim and center console also. I just don’t like gaps so I’m hesitant to be the beta tester, and that’s what’s stopping me

They do make full kits but I have to say some of the pieces I think are dumb. I think too much pho fiber might look a bit chintzy. Not to mention that they might look like turd on their own.

Too much of this kind of crap and you run the risk of going full ricer.

The 4Runner IS full ricer. Just not street performance ricer.

As for the OP's question, if you read the TufSkinz description, their part is made from real carbon fiber.

I strongly disagree. Although I think the pro models definitely inch that way with those god awful skid plates with red lettering (Why did they change it?! It was a nice plate before they went red).

My personal opinion is that a rice rod is built and not many cars other than, Focus RS, STI, GT86, Civic SI/R, GTI Golf and so on come out of the box looking like it's designed for a 13 year old. But, we modify heavy so ya... tons of 4runners are ricing hard.

It's all subjective but typically less is more.

Dang that's actually a pretty nice part. Very tempting tbh. Kinda looks like the fibers are going the wrong direction tho.

Yeah that would drive me nuts. I'll email them and see if they fixed that or not.

All kinds of trim pieces offered on ebay.

I don't want to guinea pig when I'm saving for armor. It could be pure unrefined chinesium or it could be a decent match.

Pick a vender too. I bet you they are all from the same place the pro grill knock off dangles came from.
Am I the only one distracted by the flow position and angle of the far right passenger air vent?

Spoke with tuff skins.

The weave angle is in fact opposite. They said they could flip the angle by request... with the caveat that real carbon fiber likely won't match the factory fake fiber.... So honestly the chinese stuff is seeming a bit more appealing unless you bought skinz entire kit and covered the existing fake fiber with real.

I'll see how the plastic one look when people start buying them up. If not i'm prob just wrapping it flat black.

Maybe you don't own a trd or/pro but the center console looks exactly like the piece I posted. So if you did matte it would look out of place. The point here is to bring continuity into the interior.
In my Trail, unfortunately I have a bunch of glossy plastic but it is black with some 'sparkles'.

I don't think the new model have carbon fiber style interior, but I could be wrong.

For $40 I'll give it a try, my wife's ring put a nice mark on the silver brushed piece.
