Go raw aluminum and paint it. The powdercoat will get chipped just as much as paint but paint is easier to touch up.

RCI has the code BLACKFRIDAY for 15% off, which you can use for the Aluminum skid. I'm not sure where you live, but shipping is only $22 through FedEx for me.
