Owning a SUV in the city... You really hate your life that much eh?

I would also really be worried about vandalism driving/parking a lifted truck in the city. Sometimes the city is so far left it's exactly the thing they hate (fascism). But, considering there really is zero reason to have a 4x4 in NYC I would say they have even more reasons to hate you and your truck (not that i agree just saying).

(Before you take it as a slight I'm from NYC and lived in manhattan with both vans and racecars. It was a pain in my ass and my wallet. I literally have a stack of all my old parking tickets. ****ing don't miss that shit.)

I would look to jersey for a reputable shop. Lot's more 4x4 shit out there.

Ah well if you got a place with a gate you should sell it (become a millionaire or more of one) and moved to a civilized state...

...but the NYPD and the ATF would like your assault, 9/11, terror, bullets turned in. Don't you know only the super wealthy and badges in NYC get to protect themselves. Good thing they made guns illegal for criminals too tho. That will show them not to use guns.

Good choice! Did you go with steel or aluminum? I love my aluminum Blitz bumper so far. I also have their standard length rack, molle storage panels and their Strike rock sliders (replaced the RSG sliders in the photo).

Whoever does the bumper installation, just tell them to be patient with the fit. I did the work myself and it took a lot of wiggling and adjusting to get things lined up perfectly. When you start the installation it doesn't look like it's going to line up, but it eventually fits nicely.

Do you have a garage? I installed my Warn bumper & winch myself with basic hand tools (socket wrench) and a floor jack.

I did the light bar separately.

I know how that goes.

I'm that way with chainsaws. Moving to the country, I bought a Stihl Chainsaw, still can't get the dang thing started. Needed a tree cut down that was right next to the house. Buddy of mine that grew up here is like - you know most kids around here grow up with a chainsaw in their crib. You'd be best off hiring that job out.

Found a guy with a lawn service that did it for $200!! Imagine that would cost easily $3000 to $5000 back in the Suburbs of Chicago.

I did pickup a battery powered chainsaw - just as easy to kill yourself with but 10x easier to start.

I had a shop install my Eibach lift. Lots of ways to kill yourself doing that.

These bumpers are pretty easy - just turning a wrench is all, plus cutting plastic. You can knock it out over a weekend.

Couple youtube videos on similar bumpers installs. There are all pretty much the same.

First hand experience with Al Blitz Bumper?

Hi,
I consider getting the Victory Blitz Bumper in Aluminum. Does anybody here has already first hand experience with install, fitment and offroad use?
Thanks,

Looks great. I guess you do not have TSS front radar? Also in NYC. Gonna order Victory also without top bar. And probably no winch to save on weight. I guess you found a shop to do the install. Im going to ask my body shop since some idiot rear ended me and i need to have rear bumper redone by them.
