Do you have a link to the Yakima adapters you purchased? Maxtrax and Rotopax is exactly what I am looking to mount on the roof rack. I have searched all over Yakima's website and can't find the adapters. I believe I had found them BEFORE I saw your post, but can't find them anymore. I'm sure they're there. I'm probably blind.

I don’t have a link. But 23H is what you are looking for.

That helps a lot. Thanks everyone. I had a feeling it was the 23 and not the 39!

I have been looking exactly for this! How do you mount the rotopax to the OEM roof rack? Did you use special mounts like Yakima MightyMount 23H? Did you use the universal mounting plate Rotopax sell?

Universal Mounting Plate

I see silver screws under the rotopax and through the Yakima mount. Where did you get the screws from or did they come with the Yakima mounts or Rotopax mount?

I just took the nut to Home Depot and got stainless bolts of the same thread and length I needed. I put my traction boards on with 5 inch and use 2 inches to go into the bottom of a Plano case I modified.

The mounts are holding up perfectly the best i can tell. I am using the Maxtrax pins and Rotopax mounts bolted into the yakima adapters. 4 adapters for each of the Maxtrax and 4 for Rotopax mounts. i am using 4 gallon Rotopax containers. Rack is rock solid even with 2 - 4G containers stacked on each other.

Hi. Just got 2024 Pro. Wanting to add MaxTrak to basket; love the way you carry them to keep them low. better for me than diagonal mounts due to height restrictions. the yakima website says mighty mount 23 H horizontal mounts wont fit when i plug in my vehicle info, but they clearly seem to fit, right? you are using them? much appreciated. t2

Sorry for such a late reply but I recived my Yakima 23H mounts on the Maxtrax Pins did you use 17mm or 40mm Thanks looks like these would also be awesome to mount a Rifle case hard plastic like the Harbour Freight Apache.
Thanks

Replying to a 2 year old thread in case there’s newcomers.
LFD Off-road makes a platform that fits inside the tall factory PRO rack .
