I think too many people are complaining about this exhaust. Most may not be used to a rumble. I feel like my Gibson exhaust is louder than the trd exhaust. “V6 Don’t sound right with an any exhaust.” With that being said it’s your vehicle. I do have my stock exhaust and I’m located close to Atlanta. If anyone with the 2020 pro sells their exhausts and wants the stock message me.

No kidding. People are legit scaring me away from this vehicle because of this. If you look at other forums though, many people love the exhaust..so I’m a bit confused what’s going on over here

I dont find it 'too loud' but there is a constant rumble in the background when accelerating. Compared to many other factory exhausts, its definitely not the best sound, but doesnt bother me in regular driving.

I might catch a lot of shit for this but it’s a bunch of FOG and boomers *****ing. The exhaust sounds good. If you don’t want any rumble change it out. I love my exhaust plus my CAI and pedal commander.

I have the 2020 Pro with TRD intake and love how it sounds now. It can drone a little depending on the rpm on freeways, but I drove a supercharged FRS with an exhaust too.

A lot of folks who have no idea what a LOUD exhaust sounds like. A little rumble and their delicate senses are thrown into chaos.
If you think the trd exhaust is too loud, perhaps an sr5 or RAV4 would be a better choice of vehicle.

I have a straight piped 2017 Z06 Corvette.. I'm very familiar with what LOUD is. I also know what I think sounds good and it's sure not this exhaust, which is obviously just one person's opinion and the reason I swapped mine out.. It's not the volume, nor is it the rumble, it's the terrible drone and tone.

For the cost of these TRD exhaust I would not trade or sell it. I would just buy another 4Runner exhaust and hold on to this one. It’s funny the other day I pulled my Pro out of my garage and that was the first time the wife road in it. Since it has not seen much daylight since I bought it. She did not mention once about how loud the exhaust was and she can here way better than me. She likes the JBL sound system.

What’s the point of holding on to it ? Will the value go up ?

It’s up to the individual. No the value won’t go up. But to me certain items I have sold over the years between my Toyota’s and my corvette there were things I sold and wish I had kept. But hay if you want to make some money than just sell it.

Thanks for making sure we knew the year and model of your car. I wouldn’t have been able to sleep if you just said V8.

This post lol

LOUD isnt always good, especially when its a droning sound. It sounds like my beater dakota I had in school, which had a damaged exhaust from a tree stump.

I’m used to it now, and it does sound nice in the higher rev range.

okay, basically your unsure if you want to use it. so you take it off and have it stored away in case you change your mind later and want to use it.
