Any good deals to be found for this exhaust right now? About $630 seems to be the best I can find.

Trd black tip and the snow belt, what did I do wrong?
Lived in snow belt whole life, never had an issue with any finish except chrome in the 70s until now. Brand new 2 months ago this got a good coat of wax. Washed once a week except the last 2 weeks of Chicago snow/ salt and these spots are in the finish, tried claybar, da compound polish....anyone else have this? I'll probably wait till spring and just get it coated.

Mine looks the exact same way, I tried to use a bit of metal polish but no luck.

I'm planning to pull my 2020 TRD exhaust out. I plan to keep the pro tailpipe. Million dollar question is what to tell an exhaust shop about welding it to the 'normal' exhaust system. How do I mate the 2 versus 3 bolt flanges? I don't want to buy the tailpipe and cut it after the flange to mate with the TRD Pro tailpipe. Thoughts? Anybody blended these?

Just have the exhaust shop cut the TRD flange off the tailpipe section and weld on a 2-bolt flange to match the standard OEM position.

Just installed mine the other day on a 17Pro...so far I love the sound. It has a noticeable growl now but not overwhelming or obnoxious. I definitely like the side exit but I feel like the exhaust hangs a bit low?

In theory, yes. Make sure you trust the shop as with any maintenance/mod work. It wouldn’t be too difficult to weld the new flange slightly out of position.

I thought the same when I installed mine but then put it next to a 2020 and confirmed it was in the OEM position. I wish I could tighten it up a little bit to the rear quarter panel.

ok so I am not crazy! lol

I guess for the real OCD people you could bring it to a muffler shop and have the hangers in the rear cut and rewelded? Not sure how that would look aesthetically though...

I find the drone with the TRD exhaust kind of annoying. I'm getting used to it, but some days its more annoying than others.

Just swapped the TRD performance muffler out today and kept the TRD Pro tailpipe. The shop welded the muffler/tailpipe joint together and just cut off the flanges. Length and height of the tailpipe exit/tip is the same. Most importantly, the loudness/drone under load is all gone. Now it's the rhythm of the tires!
