What's your T4Rs missing feature or annoyance??

Okay so maybe you're coming from another vehicle and you find that one or two features that you are missing or wish you had or one that annoys the crap outta you???

Mine would be going from a GMC All Terrain :

1: Tap to turn. Just pushing the blinker down you got 3 flashes or in tow/haul you got 6. Miss that so much for some odd reason.

2: Auto climate control. For $45K I think my 4runner ought to have that. I made a 5 hour trip and must have adjusted that damn click knob 50 times. I just needed that 1/2 click. Lol

Really miss:
Auto-climate control.

Nice to have:

Auto close/open rear hatch.

Auto headlights
Auto dimming side mirrors
Apple car play
Air vents for the 3rd row/trunk
Dual zone climate control
And after driving a new outback with eyesight...a system like that would be awesome

What’s missing from my 4Runner? I miss the push button start and touch lock feature that I had on my Tacoma. What’s annoying on my 4Runner? Too many interior rattles. 4Runner feature I didn’t know I’d like so well? The built-in garage door opener. Love that.

engineeer will become famous soon enough
- A powertrain (engine + transmission, fuel economy) from this decade
- Proper headlights that don't get a "Poor" rating from IIHS -- this one is inexcusable in 2019.
- An infotainment system from this decade
- An instrument cluster from this decade
- Larger fuel tank for improved range on long trips, peace of mind when off-roading in the boonies
- Keyless entry + auto start/stop across all models would be nice, but it's not for everyone
- Radar cruise control would be nice
- Heated steering wheel would be nice
- Power open/close tailgate would be nice

Crossing my fingers that the 6th gen addresses most of the above issues without turning it into a Highlander.

Heated steering wheel. (A feature I never thought I'd care about, but on my increasingly creaky hands, it sure was nice.)
A power tailgate would be nice. (one of my coworkers was loading some stuff in my truck and she physically couldn't close the tailgate, in part because she was too short to get a good grab on it)
I missed automatic climate control for the first few months, but I've gotten used to that one.

It’s funny you say that. I just test drove one yesterday and thought the steering wheel could be closer. I also noticed the fob and other key on the chain were dangling on my leg the entire time. If I could have pulled the steering wheel up a bit that would not have been an issue.

RIGHT!!! Thought that was stupid in South Louisiana when I first got my GMC. First winter it was awesome. Okay so I miss that too.

Power gate would be nice along with push button start.

Auto headlights...for the love of Pete why is this not standard on all trim levels.

I really miss my info panel that was on my 2014 TEP where the clock is. It displayed temp and miles to empty and included a compass. Not sure why that was dropped....

Honestly the only thing I ever wish it had that isn' a simpel swap is a heated steering wheel to match my heated seats.
