To the OP:

If you want to maintain TRD Pro capabilities and ride quality but want it to sit higher, spacer lift is the answer. It seems 2019 and 2020's are different than previous year TRD Pro's, so the options are very limited.

I'll be doing the Cornfed or Westcott Designs spacer lift kit in the next few weeks to my 2020. Haven't decided which one yet and was planning on starting a thread asking about opinions.

Cornfed 2" front 1" rear: $129

Westcott 1.5" front 1.25" rear: $350 (advertised to be different than a spacer lift, but same concept IMO)
You read me right. I look forward to seeing what yours looks like and the ride quality before I pull the trigger. Let me know when you do it.

Spacers on a 2020 TRD Pro

I did run spacers in the beginning and it was the worst experience I had with suspension. It did not change the ride in any way on the highway, so if someone is arguing that, I would argue they don't actually have experience with spacers. The main issue was noise and durability when in aggressive articulation and off roading.

A spacer set up will only do on the 4Runner if you intend on keeping it parked in a mall. The second you start going on the grass and gravel, your going to notice the clunking and movement they hinder or create.

hear is a write up from me about a year ago on the daystar spacer kit. HERE

Long and short, your not going to find a spacer kit that provides off road quality lift. if your actually going off road, stay with the factory lift on the factory suspension or go full new suspension all around... if your not off roading then you should be ok with the spacers.

Lol bilsteins would be a downgrade from the Pro suspension. He is only looking for a more aggressive look and spacers will work just fine.

I ended up going with Burtman Industires becasue they are the exact same quality and material as Cornfed, but offered more sizes. I went with 2.5/2". The ride is just a little more firm than I prefer, but I got the look I wanted and fit the tires I wanted, so I'm happy and would do it again.

Doesn't matter whether the spacer is on top or bottom of the spring - the result is the same. It's just a more expensive version of a spacer lift. Not a better version.

I have a few friends that has the TRD Pro and they went with that route for a few years before they decided to get a lift. When they had that setup, they said the ride is pretty nice and it's not too stiff either. Note that a few years ago wasn't the Fox shocks, but it was the Bilsteins. I have 1 friend that had the Fox shocks and he also said adding a spacer wasn't that bad and the ride was still pretty smooth with a slight stiffness.
