The kings ride really nice. It’s a great transition from trd Bilsteins. Overall it’s firm and feels really solid. Well worth the extra money.
Ok cool. Good to know. I have the same TRD suspension set up as you with the CF spacers as we talked about before.

Once my suspension goes out I’ll probably upgrade to either to the KINGs like yours or the Bilstein 8112/8100. They cost more than the Kings so I’m not sure if paying the extra $ is worth it. I’ll have to do more researching.

I really want to put a nice setup on the wife’s ORP, just have no personal experience with the Kings. Those Bilsteins are tempting at sub$4k if that’s possible.

Btw ,I still have the e46 M in my garage as well, parked next to the Technoviolet e36, neither of which I’ve driven since the pandemic began. The CSL intake sounds will be difficult to part ways with

it will be a long while until those trd bilsteins go out, unless your riding them hard daily. the bilstein 8112/8100 is like $1K each. that's 40% more then my kings. but they do look nice

I knew you must have been an E36 guy at some point. I actually just decided to pull the techno out for a quick run to Whole Foods and was just laughing about how squeaky that interior is, more creaks than my FJ with close to 200k.

My e46 is a TiAg (actually love it on the e46) with manual cloth and a pretty solid street setup. CSL intake, SuperSprint sec1/2, 4.10, V3’s and some black barreled LM’s for my bling

I just need to get a ride/drive in a King equipped vehicle. Could you fill me in on how they’re 40% less than the Bils? I’ve priced them out at 3kish

Mine initially had fitment issues which did not allow the handle to open/close every time I hit the button. But after re-seating and toggle about a dozen times.. seems to work okay.

Sounds like a nice e46. I bet that csl intake screams at WOT.. I miss that.

If your in the Bay Area, I’ll give you a ride. The kings are roughly $2500 (non adjusters) and the Bilsteins 8 series is $4k

Chrome design is being replaced by black accessories on cars. The simpler is better.

LOL Another E46Fanatic/M3F member here. Still actually have my both my E46s... JB/B 328i and AW/IR M3. Sadly, going to be putting the 328i up for sale soon with only 78k on it. Also equally as sad is I just had to strap a CTEK to the M3 because I'm not driving it as much since getting the 4R for daily use

Name sounds very familiar :-)

I’m surprised you still have your m3. Since the start of covid, 2/3 of my cars have been in battery tender.

I don't think I'll ever get rid of my M3... Maybe for a GT3... LOL but seriously, no other car out there has really made me want to get rid of it short of that. Every time I get behind the wheel, it's just a pure joy to drive. The GT3 just seems like the next logical progression.
