Well I felt the same too. But I eventually sold the m3 and got the X5m. The power and technology is amazing compared to the e46 m3. But m3 feels very raw. Any case I sold her as I felt bad leaving her outside. She went to a good home to a bmw mechanic.

Daytonaviolet's build thread
Finally got around to installing my C4 low pro bumper, at least 1/2 of it. I’ll install the high clearance additions once I install the winch. Got the parts powder coated locally for a great price.
Verified extreme led x6s 30” is working before install.
Installed. Got to install high clearance bits next.

Added the TRD exhaust. Love the exhaust note and side tip.
Here are the parts for comparison.
I re-used the doughnut between cat and muffler.
Installed

Man that Gobi sure is nice. I think I'm gonna add the ladder since it's kind of a pain to get kayaks off my Prinsu right now. Did you buy the TRD exhaust new?

All of these ladders are really small, but does make it easier to get up on the rack.
I did get the trd exhaust new. The best deal I could find shipped then was from Milton Ruben Toyota of Augusta. They had a sale on the muffler as well as discounted shipping.. shipping costs for these exhaust are expensive. Local pricing is even worse.
~ $700 shipped ($100 was for shipping)

Got some new wheels and shoes today. These are SCS Ray10’s. 17x9, -38mm offset. Tires are Nitto Ridge Grappler LT295/70/17 load range E.

Looks great. Any rubbing issues with the larger tires or did your ride height change after installing the Kings?

From 285 to 295, I had to trim more off the bottom of the bumper ~ 1/4” - 1/2”. Was rubbing during full lock on driveway reverse. But I plan to install the C4 high clearance soon, should resolve all rubbing.
Height should of changed ~ 0.3”, according to this comparison.

Added the C4 bumper before the new wheels and tires. Still need to add a winch and high clearance additions.

Just wanted to chime in on my rubbing issues as well. Setup includes Kings with 2”Icon spring in the rear, swapped 650# springs in the front (550# standard), SPC UCAs, BMC, front liner pushed up, trimming on the front bumper. I am also running the Ray 10s with -38s on 295/70/17 Cooper STT Pros. I was rubbing front and rears while offroading under full tuck. I fixed the rears with Wheelers SuperBump and also added the 3/8” spacer. I just ordered the SuperBump for the fronts. Hopefully this will fix most of the rubbing....

Man i'm glad i found this thread, i have a 2012 Limited that i'm currently in the process of converting to a TRD look. Scrolling through your build, you make it very easy to plan out the build. Thanks and look forward to picking your brain about some mods.
