Great updates so far, The 1" of clearance is the exact reason I'm going to go with a lower roof rack on our TRD Pro, figure if I can save 1-2-3 inches of roof clearance with a lower profile rack, I can add it back in tires and suspension and still park inside the garage.

Ok, thanks.
With the install kit, is the install just straight forward?

I’ve got a gobi stealth on order. Hope to get it by end of the year :-)

there’s two things to keep in mind:

1. When removing the oem bolts, remove them in pairs. As a pair, loosen on like 3 turns and then do the other one. The goal is to keep the retaining clip from falling off. Having both bolts in and removing them together will allow the retaining clip to stay in place. Also keep in mind there’s lock-tire on the bolts so it will get tough at times to turn.

2. Keep in mind order in which the washers go in. From bottom up.

Foam washer - adhere to the bottom of rack
Composite washer - top of rack

3. Metal clips - you’ll need to get the metal clips which sit on roof and between the white plastic tubes separately. They are not part of the instal kit. Let me find the part numbers and post it here later.
