I made the shelf before they were offered commercially. If you search my name you will find a thread with all the component part numbers listed. Most were sourced from McMaster Carr. You will have to fab some brackets to tie it to the molle panels. I 3d printed the brackets and positioned them so the shelf is just below the top of the rear seat. By far the best mod I have done to my 4runner, it gets used almost every trip.

Can’t see out of the windows anyway with all my recovery gear strapped to the panels, so no need to clean them (on the inside).

Yes they are overpriced.. I got my Rago Molle panels (both sides) along with a custom set made for a friend's FJ..
They are a quality set, built well, and have good adjustability. Was having second thoughts mainly due to price, but heck shipping them back was an arm and a leg too so I kept them.. this 'modding' hobby is $$ anyways
Fast forward 16 months later and I've taken them through some serious abuse, and they are still solid! Some of the molle bags are now ripping apart, even broke my rear bumper hi-lift jack upper mount from all the off-road corrugations, but the molle panels are holding strong. I'm really happy all my recovery gear (soft shackles, tow rope, basic tools, electric spares and bolts, small axe..etc.) is well organized rather than thrown around all over the place

Everything Rago makes is overpriced, and their quality and customer service has gone way down hill. When I got my panels they were the only option, now there are 5 or 6 companies that make similar products, so it's nice to see some options.

I couldn't live with my self knowing its dirty.
Hiding it is not cleaning it. Tell my kids this shit all the time when they throw everything in their closet.

I have the Rago ones and have been very happy with them. I am surprised no one has mentioned the use of Gun magnets on them. I use several to attach a few items in addition to the quickfist and molle type of mounts. Anyway, I like the steel over aluminium in this case - think about the magnet aspect, it really is handy.

My 2019 4Runner is 7 months old. It has off road “pinstripes” down both sides and has mud in places that I’ll probably never be able to clean. I’m OCD as hell about some things, but I’m not going to lose sleep over things that don’t affect functionality on this vehicle.
The molle storage panels keep all of my recovery gear neat, organized and secure. I’ll take that over two dirty windows that never get used anyway.

Big price increase….
I like the Molle panels and may be a future purchase. Need a way to mount comms so was looking at the center console. Just over a week ago it was $204 and some change, now they want $309!!!!! Geez, $105 increase??? I am all for a guy making a buck but that is steep, need to look at other options. Possible a mistake on Rago’s site as far as pricing?
