Actually I lied. There’s some slight scuff at full bump on the upper inner fender liner. Heat gun will fix that. Or let it self clearance lol.

Yo Dom, Pistolpapa here. Can't believe I found you man. Looking forward to seeing the build complete. I'm sure it'll be just as good as your stippling...

Looking to pick up my T4R soon.

I got her on the ground today and mobbed it around town. I am also experimenting not running the front sway bar on the kdss system. It’s interesting because it makes the front end come a live with these kings and the valving I have. But it’s still pretty anti roll because the huge sway bar out back. Playing around with the alignment today. But I’ll take it to a shop on Monday.

I’m trying out my prototype rear coil. Suppose to settle down to 2” of rear lift.

Dom’s build thread

I posted this in another thread about abs and trac control. I installed this custom switch and tapped into the 4wd control until to trick the truck to think it has the locker on. This allow me to turn abs off which you want when wheeling at speeds. You want to be able to lock up the brakes vs abs trying to kick in.

Also having the trac off allows you to spin the tires with out the truck trying to control it with the ebrake.

This is a link to my video on Instagram. There’s a diagram there as well.

Dom Ruangnol on Instagram: “Get the switch from @cruiserheadsmiami. Easy process. Quick shipping as well. .. .. If you guys want the diagram for to wire this up. Swipe…”

Well since King decided to not put the bypass exactly where I designed them to put it, I had to notch the lower links to clear one of the bypass tubes. It clears the stock links fine but it’s real close and with my links being a little wider then Oem. I had to. Or make new links. But I don’t want to hand fab anymore. Takes too long. Next links will be all cad designed as we just got the 4Runner CAD files from SEMA

Dom’s build thread

Alright. First prototype rear kdss track bar. Going to test fit it this weekend hopefully. But soon. I’m sure I’ll have to tweak something.

But what I did was take as many measurements from all angles. The mis alignment widths for the Oem track bar are 50mm. I only had 40mm mis alignments for these heims but I will use shims/ washer to fine tune. This actually will help me figure out if I need more or less bends by being able to shift the track bar towards front or back of truck.

I know there’s already a track bar out there but it’s the ugliest thing in the world. Welds look scary even tho I’m sure they are good structurally. It’s just not for me. Plush I think 7/8th wall DOM with the heims threaded in is a way stronger option and lighter.

The best part is this is not even the cool part that I figured out how to get even more travel out for the kdss system. I’m working on the design of that said part and the patents now. Can’t believe not even icon did this yet.

Dom’s build thread

On and off on and off on and off. Been doing this a lot lately trying to figure this kdss track bar bind deal.....

I test fitted today. Almost worked. But I totally figured out how v2 needs to be. Needs to be simpler with less bends and a special part I can’t show or talk about yet until the patent pending at the very least is in order.
