I have this lantern, works awesome for keeping on table, etc. Haven't used my propane lantern in years.

Then I just have a cheap led light I hang in tent or above hammock and a headlamp on my head. Never felt the need for anything more.

A headlamp for tasks that need light and a small inflatable lantern for having enough light to walk around camp, I dont like too much camp site lighting because it kills your night vision

For me at least, I only light things up when necessary. But it also becomes a safety concern at places I go to sometimes.
One situation is when I fish on the lake at night sitting on the shore. It gets difficult to see poles at night without light.
The other is animals. the places I go to have a lot of bear activity, and a couple times I also had coyotes come into camp(within 15 ft) while I was cooking. Keeping a visual on the wildlife at night is more my concern.

I use Milwaukee 18v cordless tools around the house. A few years ago, lights like these (the previous generation) were on closeout for $99 at Home Depot. They work great around the camp, especially for horseshoes and at home during power outages.

What do you do for camp site lighting?
I’ve used these for the last year or so and they work great. Easy to hang, charge lasts plenty long, and they provide enough light for both tasks and ambience without blinding.

Nostalgia, diversity of resources, quality of light.
LED is harsh, glaring light. Glowing mantles are much, much better light.
However, if a lantern-quantity of light is not needed, I go with headlamps, campfire, and a flashlight in my pocket.

Yeah, I use string lights plugged into a 12V jumpstarter for under the canopy lighting, very helpful especially when preparing meals or having dinner. Headlamp for everything else.

In addition, Coleman Lantern works as an Insect trap  and also (IMHO) they are ecologically cleaner vs. electric lights with disposable batteries.

I picked up a few battery powered Christmas light strings from target on sale. I just have rechargeable batteries in them at this point. (2 AA's) Not sure if you're looking for mood lighting or surface of the sun lighting, but these little strands look nice, and make moving around the campsite a little easier, (AKA not tripping on stuff) still need a headlamp for cooking if its totally dark.

Edit: i will add that the two strands i have are pretty resistant to me and the other half stepping on them or knocking them down, so they should last for a little while before you break them.

Same here. I have only used my emergency work light a couple times when arriving late and having to set up camp in the dark.
